Cellphone Detector Plus This is a fixed installation device which is the superior electronic alert alternative to the vinyl sign. A voice message, beeps and a bright red flashing LED warn people within range to switch off their cellular phones. The device can be used as a detector in situations where the operator needs to be alerted either overtly or covertly. The device can be wired to a central remote control monitoring station covering several devices.

It is suitable for instance for military bases where cellular phones pose a security risk and hospitals and research laboratories where cellular phones and other RF transmitting devices can potentially interfere with sensitive electronic equipment. One unit covers about 225 m/2. Multiple units can be installed for larger areas. Opening the front cover reveals the controls. Variable volume control; range control; beeps on or off; voice message on or off; LED flash on or off; detection of phone register on or off. Removing the back cover you can fit the 4 'C' type batteries which under normal usage last about a year. We recommend batteries rather than AC mains connection because batteries do have longevity and simple wireless installation by way of the keyholes on the rear is both easy and trouble free.
On the front facia is the high intensity red LED visual alert, a test button and the AC connection indicator LED. On the end of the unit are 3 sockets, one for DC input, one for discreet remote alert (for instance in a security control room) and one for a loud speaker connection. When batteries are running low the unit regular beeps to serve as a warning. Manufactured in the United States, the Detector Plus is superior in terms of range, flexibility and reliability.
