How far can I see with the Nitemax?

Nitemax has infrared lighting built in, allowing you to see in total darkness for up to 300 feet, and much further in low light conditions such as starlight or moonlight.
What can I use the Nitemax for?
The Nitemax can be used for viewing anything in the dark. It can be used outdoors for viewing wildlife. It can be used for survielence either hand held or wired remotely to a video screen. Or you can use it for recreational viewing, being able to see in the dark is fun!

How does it work?

The Nitemax uses an advanced CCD imaging sensor to detect the photons, then converts them into a digital electronic signal that is processed with the use of a image processor. The processed image is then displayed on a high-resolution screen and can then be recorded on to any camcorder or VCR.

How big is the Unit?

The NiteMax is 3.5 inches tall, 3.5 inches wide and 2.5 inches thick. It is small enough to fit nicely in the palm of your hand, and it only weighs 14 ounces

Built-In 3X Digital Zoom

The NiteMax Ultra comes with a built-in 3X digital zoom feature, which provides for the possibility of long distance shots.

Day / Night Operation

Allows NiteMax Ultra to be used in a variety of situations, including those where lighting conditions would prohibit the use of traditional night-vision systems.

Interchangeable Optics

Providing an industry standard CS mount, the NiteMax Ultra is 100% compatible with hundreds of lenses, which can be a valuable feature if you already have an existing security system.

CS to C-Mount Adapter

The NiteMax Ultra comes bundled with an included CS to C-Mount adapter, enabling the use of an even wider range of optics.

Easy View 2.5" LCD Display

The built-in TFT (Thin Film Transistor) display is very sharp, and adjustable for brightness for use in varying environments

Video Out For Recording

NiteMax Ultra features an industry standard RCA-Out jack. Using this output, you can easily record to a VCR, transmit video wirelessly, or

record onto a camcorder or laptop.

High-Power Illumination

Fifteen (15) internal Infra Red Illuminators (IR LEDs) pack enough punch to be able to view up to 100 yards in nearly total darkness! The IR emitters can be left off to conserve battery power, or adjusted for optimal image clarity

Rechargeable Battery

The included rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery is good for approximately 2 hours of constant use, and can be recharged with the standard charger over-night.

AC / DC Power Port

This power-input extends the versatility of NiteMax by not tying you down to battery power alone. With available accessories, you can plug the NiteMax Ultra into a wall, or your car's cigarette lighter.
